But as soon as any problem was encountered David had it fixed immediately, including figuring out how to put a giant beam across our ceiling to replace the retaining wall at no extra charge. Or when a member of one work crew knocked our driveway gate out of the wall and just propped it back up without telling us. Their were a few glitches along the way, such as finding that the wall we knocked out was in fact a retaining wall after the engineer had said that it wasn't. In the beginning David told us the job would take between 2 and 4 months to complete and it ended up taking a little over 2 months. In the end, we chose IND Construction because we liked David and believed he would do what he said he would do. But most were very pleasant and 3 came in at approximately the same bid price of 48,000. “We received several quotes from contractors, some of whom tried to up sell or told us we couldn't do what we had envisioned and would need a completely different floor plan. They also gave us 3D design rendering that was great, we actually could see how the kitchen will look like.
